Delete your account in the app
The fastest way to delete your FairWise account is through the mobile app.
- Open the FairWise app
- Go to the Profile tab
- Select Delete Account
- Follow the confirmation steps

If you cannot access the FairWise app, you may request account deletion by emailing:
support@fairwiseapp.com
Data deleted
- Account profile
- Email address associated with the account
- Trips created or participated in
- Expenses
- Payments
- Balances and settlement information
- Participant links and group membership information
Data retention
Some data may temporarily remain in backups, logs, or records needed for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or service operation. Retained data is deleted or anonymized within 30 days unless a longer period is required by law.
